How do I access the new chat feature?

Any user can access the new chat feature upon sign-up and sign-in. To interact in chat, you will need chat tokens, with each question consuming one token.

What are the types of chat tokens?

There are two types of chat tokens: Daily Tokens and Anytime Chat Tokens. Daily Tokens are included as part of our paid subscription plans . Daily tokens are allocated every day and expire at midnight UTC. Anytime Tokens are purchased separately and they can be used at any time.

How are tokens used during chat?

Each question in chat requires one token. You must be signed in to access chat and have either daily or anytime tokens available. Daily tokens (if available) are consumed first, followed by anytime tokens. If you exhaust your tokens, you can either purchase more or wait for your daily tokens to refresh.

How does the one-time offer of 25 free anytime chat tokens work?

As a limited-time beta promotion, new users get 25 free anytime chat tokens that expire 14 days after sign-up. Existing users can access this offer by clicking the "claim" button in our promotional email. This offer is claimable only once per user.

How do daily chat tokens work?

Paid plans come with daily chat tokens that reset and expire at midnight UTC. Free plan does not include daily tokens. If you hit your daily limit and have no Anytime tokens remaining, you can either wait for the next day's daily tokens or purchase additional Anytime tokens. If you are on the Free plan and exhausted all your promotional chat tokens, consider upgrading to paid subscription plans to get daily chat tokens.

How can I purchase additional chat tokens?

You can purchase a package of 50 Anytime chat tokens for $19.99, as part of our beta promotion. You can purchase the package from your Profile page or in chat directly. If you are on a paid plan, you will get daily free chat tokens as part of your plan.
